We're looking for a growth engineer to help Build Aloud reach more developers. This is a hybrid role - part frontend engineering, part experimentation, part creative problem-solving. You'll own the systems that drive signups, activation, and referrals, and you'll have the freedom to ship fast and learn faster.
What you'll do
- Build and iterate on signup flows, referral mechanics, and onboarding experiences
- Design and run A/B tests across the marketing site and product
- Instrument analytics and build dashboards to understand user behavior
- Work closely with the founding team to define growth strategy
- Ship landing pages, email sequences, and viral loops that actually convert
- Write code that's production-quality, not just prototype-quality
What we're looking for
- Strong frontend skills (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
- Experience with growth or experimentation at a startup or product company
- Comfortable with analytics tools and data-driven decision making
- You can go from idea to shipped experiment in a day, not a sprint
- Good writing skills - you'll be crafting copy as much as code
Nice to have
- Experience with developer tools or developer-facing products
- You've built in public yourself and understand the audience
- Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, or referral systems
- You've worked at an early-stage startup before (seed or pre-seed)
